Drying Saturated Carpet in Commercial Building
This elementary school building in Henrico experienced a water damage after fire sprinklers went off. The fire started in the upstairs supply closet causing the sprinklers in the building to go off. Water was sprayed throughout the building affecting the second and first floor. SERVPRO of Richmond jumped into action to begin extracting the water and drying the affected carpeted areas. The crew also set up machines to dry saturated documents. It was important to act quickly and begin the drying and remediation process, allowing the children to return to school quickly. Within a few days, the children were able to return to school.
