Water Heater Causes Damage
This residential water damage occurred from a water heater. The customer's water heater in his attic had a leak and went into the walls, through the sheetrock and had softened it. The water made it's way to the living room carpet and saturated the flooring. He also advised it went through the particle board and he was unsure if the crawlspace was wet or not. The customer pulled back the carpeting and started to get up the water but it was too much, so he decided to contact SERVPRO of Richmond to take care of the damage professionally. Our crew extracted the water and began the drying process.
